2. Overview

We only process personal data where it is needed to run this website or to answer your enquiry. We do not sell your data and we do not pass it on for advertising purposes. The connection to this website is encrypted (HTTPS).

3. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., USA. When you open a page, the hosting provider automatically processes technical access data: IP address, date and time, the page requested, the referring page, browser and operating system. This is necessary to deliver the website securely and to detect misuse. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure, reliable website).

Data may be processed in the USA. Vercel is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; in addition, EU standard contractual clauses apply.

4. Fonts

Fonts are served from our own server. Opening this website does not create a connection to Google Fonts or any other font provider.

5. Contact form

If you send us an enquiry through the form, we process the details you enter (name, email address and, if provided, company, phone number, existing website, service, budget, preferred contact method and message) to handle your enquiry. You will usually also receive an email confirming receipt.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to entering into a contract) and your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, which you give with the checkbox and can withdraw at any time.

Form messages are delivered by the email service Resend (USA) or, as a fallback, by FormSubmit (formsubmit.co). Data may be processed in the USA; the transfer is based on EU standard contractual clauses.

6. Email, phone and WhatsApp

If you contact us by email or phone, we process your details to handle your request (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).

If you use the WhatsApp button, you leave this website and use the service of WhatsApp Ireland Limited (Ireland). WhatsApp processes data such as your phone number and metadata under its own privacy policy, which may include transfers to Meta Platforms, Inc. in the USA. Use is voluntary; you can reach us by phone or email instead at any time.

7. Consent settings and local storage

We store your cookie choice in your browser’s local storage (key “ea-consent”) so that the banner does not appear on every page. This storage is strictly necessary (§ 25(2) TDDDG) and contains no personal profile. You can change your choice at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer.

8. Google Analytics and Google Ads

Google Analytics and Google Ads are currently not active on this website. Should we enable them in future, they will only load after your explicit consent.

The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TDDDG. Without consent, these services are not loaded. You can withdraw consent at any time via “Cookie settings”.

9. Retention

We delete enquiry data once it is no longer needed to handle the request. If a contract follows, statutory retention periods under commercial and tax law apply (up to ten years).

10. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). You can withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3)). An email to us is enough.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, Alt-Moabit 59–61, 10555 Berlin, Germany.

11. Further information

Providing data through the form is neither legally nor contractually required, but we cannot reply without a name and email address. We do not use automated decision-making or profiling.
